The Journey To Your Table
Ever wondered how our products are made? From our locally grown and harvested potatoes, to our hand-cut, homemade batch process, our food manufacturing process ensures the safety and consistency of our salads and sides. Take a tour through the product's journey below.
FROM THE FIELD
The Journey to your table starts in the field. We locally source farmers to harvest the best quality ingredients to use in our products. We strive to have as many ingredients as possible grown right here in the heartland.
TO OUR FACILITY
Once the ingredients are harvested, they are transported to our facility. Because we use local growers, we can guarantee freshness and quality. We use the finest produce available to create our premium products.
INTO PRODUCTION
After the produce has met our quality standards, they are now ready to be used to create our delicious products. We create our salads and sides in a state-of-the-art facility, utilizing the latest technology in the food service industry while still offering the handmade, hand-cut, batch process of homemade goodness.
QUALITY IN MIND
To ensure we are producing the best products available, every batch is sampled and tested for quality. We have an on-site Quality Control and Research & Development Laboratory. Our plant is FDA inspected and approved, and we hold a 100% sanitation rating.
IN TRANSIT
To ensure superior quality and consistency from our facility to your local grocer, our products are transported in a controlled refrigerator environment and delivered with timelines and care.
AT YOUR DELI
If you're at your local grocer, and wishing you had a Mrs. Gerry's salad or side to compliment your entree, you may just be in luck. Mrs. Gerry's sides and salads are available at many deli counters. If you don't see us, ask for us by name and your local deli will dish you up the best in salads and sides.
TO YOUR TABLE
The final stage of the journey, and may we add - the most delicious part - is when Mrs. Gerry's lands on your table. You, your family and friends deserve the best! And we've even written up some tasty instructions: 1. Open 2. Serve and 3. Enjoy!
